The Rev. Joel Q. Ley, Pastor

Pastor Joel Ley was called to serve Christ Lutheran Church in 2005 and also serves as Dean of the Lower Columbia Basin Cluster of the Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod of the ELCA.

Prior to his arrival at Christ Lutheran, Pastor Ley was a Lutheran Campus Pastor and parish pastor in Wisconsin.  His ministry career was preceded by fifteen years as a civilian employee of the U.S. Navy. 

Pastor Ley is a graduate of Washington State University and Wartburg Theological Seminary. His  voice can be heard not only from the pulpit at Christ Lutheran but also on the amateur radio airwaves at  AD7HE

Anne Van Kley,  Youth Director

Anne Van Kley has served as Director of Youth Ministry at Christ Lutheran Church since May of 2009. She has been a voting member on the Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod Council and is currently on the synod’s Youth Committee. She works with youth leaders throughout the region as an advisor to our synod’s Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) board. In her capacity at Christ Lutheran, Anne works primarily with middle school and high school youth, and enjoys her interaction with PreK-5 children through Sunday School, Vacation Bible Camp, and music ministries.
