At Christ Lutheran, there are lots of ways for you to use your talents to serve God and your neighbor. Here is a sampling of our ministries. Call or email for more information about how you can get involved.

  • Kids are always welcome! Youth activities abound for high school, middle school, and K through 5 students. For parents who desire it, nursery care is available during worship.

  • Members cook and serve a meal at Walla Walla’s Christian Aid Center monthly.

  • School kits and health kits are assembled and shipped to third world countries by our women’s group.

  • Bible study is central to our adult education program. Currently one group meets Sunday morning and three groups meet during the week.

  • Quilters meet Tuesday mornings and have shipped thousands of quilts to places around the globe through Lutheran World Relief.

  • MIB (Men In Boots) meet the first two Tuesday’s of each month. After coffee and brief devotions, they spend a couple of hours doing maintenance projects around the church.

  • Sunday School is available for all ages between worship services each week of the school year.

  • Local food pantry shelves are stocked through generous donations from the congregation every month.

  • A local Boy Scout troop meets each Tuesday evening at Christ Lutheran Church.

  • Service men and women, college students, and shut-ins receive care packets on a regular basis.

  • CHUG (Coffee Hour, Ushers, and Greeters) Groups assist with worship and fellowship each week. Members also serve as lectors and communion assistants during Sunday services.

  • Missionaries at a Lutheran girls’ school in Tanzania are supported in part by Christ Lutheran’s budget.

  • If you like to sing, our choir is the place for you! The group meets Wednesday evenings and graces our worship services with music every other week.

  • Regular fellowship events at the church or in the community nurture relationships with other Christians.

  •  Farmers and artisans in third world countries are supported through the sale of fair trade coffee and gifts.
